"LIVE" from Harmony of the Seas - April 28, 2018

Hi Radio,

Just a quick question. In Cozumel, does the ship set its clocks to local time or is there a difference between local time and the ships time?

Thank you for your help and your great review!

My guess is that Captain Gus likes your "LIVE" threads for the same reasons that many of the rest of us do. They are straight forward and positive without the controversy that often creates drama on these boards, and you take great pictures. A very nice combination. :D

Hello everyone, and Good Morning. Welcome to DAY 7 of “LIVE”from Harmony of the Seas. I woke up early today and wandered into the DiamondLounge on Deck4. I think it is nice that The Diamond Lounge (FWD) is very closeto Casino Royale (MID). I didn’t win a free cruise or have enough points forfree drinks, but I am definitely above for this Cruise.

I have Captain’s Corner coming up this morning and a BridgeTour this afternoon. I am also lucky enough to use Luggage Valet. When I put myluggage out tonight, I will not touch or see it again until I arrive at BWItomorrow afternoon.

I do have to cash in a few Casino Royale slips, and pick upthe photos that I ordered yesterday. I still want to do FlowRider thisafternoon as it has been a few years since I have done it (Allure 2011), but asI suggested there is just too much to do, and so little time. I guess I mayhave to book Harmony of the Seas again . . .

Captain Gus suggested that we may feel a few winds on ourway back to Fort Lauderdale, and he was right on the money. It has been verywindy up on the pool decks. The forecast is calling for sunny skies and 80F.There may be a little rain as we make it back to Terminal 18. I have some manyimages from Cozumel that I will have to post a few more when I get home.

Here are a few pics from Cozumel and this morning. . .

Thanks for tuning in.

Hello everyone . . . Today is my final day at sea, and I hate to say it but I have to leave tomorrow morning. It was a wonderful cruise that I won’t soon forget. I was able to enjoy time with friends, and a wonderful dining experience. Casino Royale, as you may know, was Radio Friendly, and I was lucky to have a private meeting with the Captain (Gus Andersson)and Hotel Director (Nibu Sayed). My accommodations were outstanding, but I think that more than anything the Crew may have been one of the friendliest crew I have encountered.

I was able to do a few things that I couldn’t do earlier in the week. I was able to use the Ultimate Abyss . . . It is a very fast ride down 8 decks. I wasn’t able to use my GoPro, but Ultimate Abyss was very fun. I also was able to see some of the Aquatheater Show this afternoon and was able to watch a 3D Movie (Star Wars- The Last Jedi) in the Royal Theater.

I’m not sure what Ship I will be sailing next, but I’m sure I will see Harmony of the Seas again. We will be docked at Terminal 18 in Fort Lauderdale tomorrow morning, and I do have a flight home to BWI tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for tuning in . . .

Do all oasis class have that secret deck 5?

We were on allure years ago and never saw something like. It was one of our only complaints as we missed deck 4 or 5 with covered seating like freedom class. Maybe we just missed it or newer ships are different?

Hello everyone and Good Morning. Welcome to DAY 8 of “LIVE” from Harmony of the Seas.

Well, I guess it might be time for me to leave this wonderful ship. I think I may have heard an announcement “Radio, kindly please make your way to the Gangway” Ooops, I think that means I have to go.

I will be driving to Miami for an afternoon flight. I should be home around 5PM. After a brief news hour I may be back to post a few more images.

Thanks for all of the nice comments, and thanks for tuning in . . .

It is on Allure and Harmony. I can't remember Oasis and I recently read a blog on Symphony and they replaced that area with ping pong tables.

Does anyone have a map on where this is. I’ve been on both oasis and allure and don’t recall seeing a area like this on deck 5

Go outside on deck 5 and walk to the back of the ship.

I don't know why everyone else is saying this area is on Oasis and Allure, because it isn't on those two ships. I am 100% certain of that.

In the back as I said before. Different location on Oasis and Allure. Martikus asked about deck 5.
