SailAwayInAugust Posted May 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2018 I started checking in online in bits & pieces. I now have my passports all together and ready complete and submit all of our information for the 4 in my party, however, we are all showing different check-in times. We live pretty close to port, so I want to get there as early as possible. I have a 9:30 check in time (Which I want), My husband has an 11am and my kids have a 12:30 check-in time. I can't change their times because the 9:00 timeslot is not an option anymore for them! I guess my question is... Does everyone in our party have to have the same check in time? Will there be a boarding delay if our reservation does not all reflect the same information? Thanks in advance!
zqvol Posted May 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2018 You can all enter using your time. There is no need for your family to enter separately.
don't-use-real-name Posted May 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2018 The times posted are SUGGESTED check-in times. If you are all in one cabin check in with the earliest time noted that meets your convenience. If in multiple cabins again check in as a group with the time that works for you. NCL is just stacking the deck to meter the flow of the embarking traffic. Keeping a group together is easier than having single participants clogging the boarding process waiting in the passageways or foyers once on board. smplybcause Posted May 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2018 Port of Miami only looked at which terminal was on your pass not the time. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Rare BirdTravels Posted May 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2018 Port of Miami only looked at which terminal was on your pass not the time. The OP is sailing out of New York. But, the response is the same. Show up when you want.

Love my butler Posted May 6, 2018 #10 Share Posted May 6, 2018 The 'check-in' times are merely a suggestion and mean absolutely NOTHING. You can check-in anytime you want as long as you don't miss the ship. It amuses me how many cruisers think there is actually an assigned check-in time.
