skierjj Posted May 25, 2018 Author #377 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Ok I’ll be there for dinner, I’ll try to remember to ask! Thanks for following along. Sent from my iPhone using Forums[/quote My sister Sharon is a vegan and Nicholas made her some wonderful vegan dishes when we were in The Haven on the Escape last December. We will be back this year on the Bliss and I know she will be so excited if Nicholas will be there. Talked to Nicholas personally tonight. Yes, he remembers you. He says “her name was Sharon, she gave me a friendship ring” he remembers making vegan dishes; and yes he will be on your next cruise!!! skierjj Posted May 25, 2018 Author #378 Share Posted May 25, 2018 After I got my smoky cocktail we had our last dinner in the Haven: Appetizers: Poke tuna Beef short ribs on polenta Butter lettuce salad with nuts and Greek olives and bacon We both had chicken breast stuffed with Italian sausage. This was an amazing dish: Next stop classic rock with siglo band at the Cavern: I brought my 2nd old fashion from Haven to the Cavern: Sent from my iPhone using Forums

skierjj Posted May 25, 2018 Author #380 Share Posted May 25, 2018 We packed just in the nick of time. Got all of our bags out by 11:50. We went down to casino again to get any comps allotted to us from Mikes play onto our account. Then we had a couple of night caps. Then they said casino and bars were closing down around 1:00 am. Lights above our bed as we crawl into our wonderful bed for the last time. Lights in San Diego, (I think), as we cruise into California around 2:00 am. skierjj Posted May 25, 2018 Author #383 Share Posted May 25, 2018 We arrive in San Pedro. This hill is the Palos Verdes Peninsula. I grew up here. My Mom and Dad built a house there in 1958. My mom still lives in that same house. Our car is parked there today, we just have to uber to her house this morning. AmyJA Posted May 25, 2018 #387 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Yes I saw a two person cart. Dad and son. Now I’m not sure but it looked like they had track to themselves. I arrived as their turn was finishing. Thanks for the info. Thinking of taking the Momster, who is 86!

We just need to have one have a home port year round. L.A. would be nice! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

skierjj Posted May 25, 2018 Author #390 Share Posted May 25, 2018 View of one of the busiest cargo ports in the world! Quick light breakfast in Haven. I’m sneaking out a couple of the delicious almond coissants for Mike. Last French press coffee too. So long Haven...I’m going to miss you! Sent from my iPhone using Forums I know the gratuities are shared among the crew, but when you tip directly (like your favorite bartender or your cabin steward) do the individuals get to keep the entirety of that tip or do they also have to be pooled? david_sobe Posted May 26, 2018 #400 Share Posted May 26, 2018 Really enjoyed this review and photos!!! Is Margaritaville free for lunch (haven guests) only on embarkation day or every day? Is the haven observation area every noisy? There are 2 bedroom suites right outside that area and thinking of booking. But concerned if the area is too crowded.
