tallulahcruiser Posted May 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2018 Does anyone know if RCI actually enforce the rule about having an adult sleep in the same cabin as a child. We have booked connecting cabins for myself and on child and my husband and the other one but intending to swap so the children are in one and us in the other. they are aged 9 and
Ashland Posted May 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2018 Does anyone know if RCI actually enforce the rule about having an adult sleep in the same cabin as a child. You've booked this combination exactly perfect and the connecting cabins will work out great. No worries...now enjoy that cruise and the memories you're making with those grandchildren. Jandex Posted May 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2018 When you get onboard head straight to guest services and get ‘keys’ made for both rooms. This will allow you to swap rooms and and have a key for both. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rjh8842 Posted May 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2018 If you have connecting cabin then children can be booked in other cabin. No adult needed. If they are not connecting that is another story.
Clarea Posted May 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2018 If you have connecting cabin then children can be booked in other cabin. No adult needed. If they are not connecting that is another story. Royal allows children to be booked in their own stateroom, as long as that stateroom is next to or across the hall from the responsible adult. This cannot be done on the website, this takes a phone call to book this way.
Hopetotravel Posted May 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 24, 2018 With the connecting door ajar it's almost the same as being in the same room. My son had four of the kids in one room and mom and dad in the other rather than having adult in each room.
ATSEAMYLIFE Posted May 24, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 24, 2018 If you have connecting cabin then children can be booked in other cabin. No adult needed. That's our experience also. But, we used our TA to book it. Oasis class doesn't have a lot of connecting cabins so we used the TA to find two when the www site wouldn't show any. Merion_Mom Posted May 24, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 24, 2018 When they are not your own children, RC applies different rules. Tallulahcruiser has booked it just right. The advice to get extra keys is the right advice.
IceManCan Posted May 24, 2018 #9 Share Posted May 24, 2018 Added bonus. My wife isn't a drinker so I am able to buy a drink package for 1 when we book like this. Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app

IceManCan Posted May 24, 2018 #11 Share Posted May 24, 2018 I've done that in the past. Decided to forego that this time and give the drink package a go. Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app
