pilot Posted June 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2018 My wife and I are taking daughter, son in law, and 2 grandsons on a cruise in July. To take advantage of a sale and OBC, I am booked in one cabin and my wife in the other. We are both Elite (first cruise for everyone else). How will the mini bar setup work? We want to trade out for 2 coffee cards. Anyone done this? Sent from my iPad using Forums
moki'smommy Posted June 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) Since there is an "elite" in each room, you should get a mini bar in each room. You can trade EACH mini-bar for 2 coffee cards, so you can have a total of 4 cards. All you need to do is to call room service, and they will do the trade out for you. They came to our cabin while we were at dinner; took the mini-bar stuff and left the cards on the counter above the fridge. You'll also each have an internet plan, etc. FYI no one cares who sleeps where. What counts for the benefits is who is booked where. After boarding, you can go to the Passenger Services desk and get a "blank" key to let the people who need it into the other cabin--wife into your cabin and whoever into the other cabin. This key is not good for getting on and off the ship or charging. ALL it does is open the door. Edited June 2, 2018 by moki'smommy

pilot Posted June 2, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted June 2, 2018 Yes, our great TA marked no upgrade for both cabins. I do check regularly that Princess doesn’t help us out. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Make sure you're "linked", too. That way if they want to move you, they'll move both cabins.;)

Rare geoherb Posted June 3, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 3, 2018 Don’t forget both staterooms will be able to use the free laundry No. Each elite passenger gets free laundry. The benefit doesn't extend to cabin mates. Sent from my SM-J727P using Forums mobile app
