Thank you for all the good wishes. I'm in the Nation's capital - Ottawa. Too hot to go out and celebrate. Just checked temp and with humidity it's 46C (114.9F). I think we'll set a record today. Wish I had a pool:)

Believe me Sue, with today's temperature here in Ottawa, the pool doesn't help. We very seldom turn on our house AC, as we like fresh air and warmth, but we turned it on yesterday and by the looks of it will leave it on all week.

Beautiful day at Canada place Vancouver. A wonderful day and not too hot. About 20c. Perfect to enjoy good food, great music and lots of people watching. The cruisers on the Noordam had a front row seat from their Starboard and aft balconies.

Thanks! It was 38 C this afternoon here in Montreal. Withe the humidex that's 47 or roughly 116 F. :o
