Dinning package discounts????

Recommended Posts

cruising on oasis and I haven’t gotten flooded with discounts for the 3 and 4 night dinning packages, on the website their still showing full price except for the discounted ultimate dinning pkg.

Is this the new norm? Does anyone know if their still putting dinning offers in the cabin during the cruise? Just not sure if we should suck it up for the $95 for the 3 package or wait till we’re on board in hopes of getting the 4 night for the same price.

Tips????

Thx

I can’t recall seeing the dining packages discounted in a long time.

We booked our upcoming Symphony cruise over a year ago. Check the cruise planner every month or so. There has been discounts for select restaurants but never packages. So far the 4 night, 5 night and ultimate packages have been removed and never returned as we were told by C&A that they are sold out. Our cruise is in OCT. We had no problem picking the BOGO for day 1 and the 3 night for day 2. We will just make new reservation days and times once onboard.

You'd have to cancel before the first dinner and you'd only get OBC, not a refund.

Not OP but to confirm on this comment....if you have a dinner booked and then you get on board and see they are offering same place/night for a discount, then you can cancel your booking and rebook at the discount? Or do you only have say 48 hrs to cancel a dinner reservation? We have Chops booked for first night (to ensure we get the time that we want)...but wouldn't be surprised if they have discounts for that night when we board.

Just ask, they should adjust the price for you. Chops on SY or MN? If it’s SY we might see you there.

Thanks Ken. Trying it out on Mariner next month. Then if we like it, perhaps for Symphony.

That's seems like a slightly different scenario from a generic 3 night package with no reservations. You already have a specific night/dinner booked. That might be a bit more difficult to cancel for OBC, but as Ken mentions you could always ask.

Thanks. I’ll guess I’ll pay the cruise planer pre board price. Do you Think if they offer a sale on board they’ll give a refund?

We were on Allure last August there will be reps from the specialty dining venues all week trying to fill their restaurants. I over heard some making deals to get you in, especially if you already dined in their restaurant. It is worth a try
