klfhngr Posted July 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Currently on deck 15. Was thinking of bidding for Mini, 150 pp. What do you recommend? First time on NCL!
NYcruzzer Posted July 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Not worth $300,00 for a larger bathroom . Plus you never know where the mini suite will be located. If you like your current location, then definitely save the $$$$$$$$
cincicruisers Posted July 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2018 I would stay in the angled balcony.
Rare JamieLogical Posted July 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 27, 2018 I am in an angled balcony on my upcoming cruise in October. Bidding just opened up yesterday. I am not going to bid on a mini-suite. I don't think it's worth giving up my bigger balcony and good location just for the larger bathroom of a mini-suite. Who knows where I would actually end up? LrgPizza Posted July 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2018 No way. I wouldn't even do it for $10.
Rare JamieLogical Posted July 27, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2018 No way. I wouldn't even do it for $10. If I was guaranteed an aft mini-suite, I would do it! But there are only two of those on the Escape. With all of the other mini-suites, it's a crapshoot. I'm not even sure I would want one of the mini-suites with a large balcony on Deck 8. Knowing my luck, I'd end up in one of the "Family" mini-suites on Deck 9 in a connected room with noisy kids next door... and kids running and screaming up and down the halls all week. If you like to spend time on your balcony keep the angled balcony, it is way bigger than the standard balcony. If you prefer a bigger bathroom, get the mini suite. cheryl525 Posted July 28, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 28, 2018 We were on the Escape in April in an angled balcony on Deck 15 - trust me, keep it. The balcony is worth it! The bathroom is plenty large enough in comparison to a mini-suite.
