Ok, I'll join the fun. At one time we had as many as four cats. This is the only one who we still have. We've had her for 20 years as of last month and she was 6 months old when we adopted her.

 

She is still terrified of me. I managed to get this picture of her, curled up in the sunshine, enjoying the radiant heat from the bathroom floor. She was not happy about this.

I have to admit she looks very wary. Her coat is gorgeous both the markings and the ginger colour.

She looks just like I sometimes feel - a grumpy older lady, being disturbed unnecessarily.

Speaking of Labradors there was one who was an official visitor to the hospital I was working at for the last 3 years. He had a tremendous therapeutic effect on many patients.

He was banned for a short time due to covid but became a bit of an International hit as a model for masks.

Here is our Colorado kitty.  Quite shy.  Strictly an outdoors cat. Has all of its claws. Picky eater who prefers red meat.  Elk is a favorite, although will eat any of the pets shown on this page so far if given the chance.

From being in the Greek Islands in late 2018, below are a couple of cute cat visuals.  First, here is a feline at a historic location on the island of Rhodes.  The other image was also captured while visiting near Lindos on this Rhodes island.  Love the eyes of cats!!

Since J.P. and Stumblefoot brought up and showed those types of "CATS", below are three of my favorites that I captured while being on safari in Botswana.  See below!!  Are not those eyes amazing?

I am  allergic to  cats,  so  can  we have a dedicated dog/cat thread  PLEASE ??  😊

That is probably a good idea -although I doubt if you will get an anaphylactic reaction or even the purple spots I sometimes get from just looking at them on here?  If we did have one, I would like to include other animals, like people's lovely horses, and maybe even babies (say, under two years old), when they are usually at their most beautiful.

Here is a pic of our Dog here in Colorado. He loves Milk Bones with a dab of peanut butter and an occasional mouse to help with his digestion. 😉

So tell me again how Australia has dangerous animals 😆. As I have said to other American friends, when I go for a hike I don't have to worry about bears or mountain lions etc.
