Casino rate offers

Hello all,

Last cruise in March I played the slots a little & won almost $100 (big deal for me!). About a week later I got casino offer that didn't include any cruises I was interested in. I know it hasn't been that long, but have not received an offer since. Do you keep getting offers or is it a one time shot?

I play a very small amount on every cruise - 2 or 3 times a year.

We play just about every night or daytime(sea day) and I've never got a casino offer but my wife sure does.....LOL. With that said when we book with Princess I'll just ask about the Casino rate and is it available on the cruise we're interested in, what's the worst they can say, "No" About 2 months ago I was checking on one of our upcoming cruises because the price dropped and I guess I got lucky the Princess rep said hang on let me see about Casino rates for you and by the time I was done with the call she had saved us over $3200 on 3 cruises we had booked. I'd say just call and find out, just saying.

My sister is a casual casino player, my husband and I are much more 'committed'. We get a range of offers, all up and down the line from free play, discounts and cabins of different levels.

Sister hadn't cruised Princess in a while, and got an offer for $149pp for 7 days. She booked it on the Caribbean Princess for Sept 1st. I had a still-valid $500 free play offer, but no cabin discount.

When I called to ask if I could have the same $149 deal, they said no, but offered me balcony for $399pp, which is $300 less than posted rate, and said I could still use the $500 free play.

So, never hurts to ask, especially if there are lots of cabins available, and double-especially if there are lots of cabins and it's close to or after final payment date.

We never get email or snail mail offers but if I call my Princess PVP she can get me a casino rate. I usually save $150 to $300pp depending on the length of the cruise and cabin category that I select. This began 2 years ago after we ran our refundable OBC from a move over offer through the casino to walk off the ship with the cash. Now I play a bit to keep the discount going.

Some cray cray good rates on the CB now - we did a temp hold (:() that we couldn't keep for a 10 day Eastern on 10/18 - $ 399 pp, yep $ 399 pp for IF guar.

about 4 hours later , got an email that we had been 'upgraded' to an IB

bummer having to let that deal go today...still available at $ 429pp when I checked early this morning

How valuable is10 minutes to you???

It's NEVER too late to call - what's the worstest that can happen??;p

We always get a casino rate except when we book long cruises under the sip and sail promo - can't combine the 2.

We have two cruises booked for summer 2019, both currently have the sip and sail promo. We got our casino discount on one of them (an 18 day sailing) but were told no on the other (a 16 day sailing) because of the sip and sail. What's interesting is that the one with the casino discount is almost sold out, and the other where we didn't get it has tons of cabins left....so it doesn't seem like it be a case of capacity controlled.

We'll call back when 3 for Free happens in Sept and see if we can get it then.

.

I think it's capacity controlled but not based on general booking. I think the casino offer is allowed x number of cabins on a sailing. So if the casino offer capacity on the sailing is 10 cabins and 10 people book under the offer before you, then you can't get apply it to that sailing.

You're saying every cruise offers a certain number casino rate rooms per sailing?
