For those who have upcoming reservations at Little French Key in Roatan you may need to consider alternate plans.

 

Saw this earlier today showing a fire yesterday.

 

I really feel for all the owners of this resort and what they have suffered through the past few years trying to establish their business.

Oh no!!! We were looking forward to going there more than anywhere else on this next cruise. But it won't be until next June. Praying for this family and all their love and hard work that has gone into this resort. Praying they can salvage, rebuild, and it be better than ever!

That is terrible :( We visited Little French Key in 2013 and loved it there. Glad it seems that everyone is ok and hoping they can rebuild soon.

This is horrible! IT was encouraged by local authorities? I wouldn't doubt it the way this twisted jealous world has become. It was serve Roatan right if cruise ships pulled out of there. The port area probably didn't like that so many tourists were wanting to go to this island.

I'm glad we went a couple of years ago, but I think we're done w/ Honduras. Too much hostility these days and there is too many other beautiful places in the Caribbean to see, explore, and enjoy.

This was my favorite place! We went there in 2012 and planned to go back next year :(
