Port or starboard for Norwejian Fjords?

I know they are fjords so will be beautiful views all around but would anyone recommend one side over the other?Thanks

I don't think it matters. Besides, most Princess trips (all) are roundtrip.

The best scenery on the entire cruise and maybe on any cruise is on the sail out from Flaam. It's about 3 hours long, and when we were on board it was during early dinner time. If you dine early recommend you skip the DR that evening and watch the sail out. Now your question. For that sail out the best views are Starboard, but there are really nice views on both sides. I sat on the open upper deck and moved around forward, aft side to side. For other ports it really doesn't make any difference.

Which side of the ship doesn't matter. The ship will go into a fjord, turn around, and come out. SO if you stayed in one spot, looking out your window or balcony, you'd see both sides. In reality, just like in Alaska, the better views are on open decks.

The important thing is just to be on the ship. We had an aft facing balcony and the sights were great.
