Karen - further to my post # 252, Captain Trond won't be returning to Navigator, instead Captain Angel will take over Navigator on Aug 5.  Captain Trond will be taking over Rhapsody when the current captain signs off.

It won't really affect your chart, Karen, but Captain Srecko Ban is staying on until St. Maarten (June 10), when Captain Henrik will take over. (he didn't tell me why)

 

(and it wouldn't have been the 7th anyway; we were at sea.  the cruise started on the 6th)  😄

Captain Trond Holm but in November Captain Nordmo might be back for his next rotation already.

Hi Mario...

And oh no....I'll miss Captain Angel on Navigator on 10/21 then.  I had asked him and knew it was close, but we may miss him by about a week.  Sigh. I really like him!

I'm not sure, since GR doesn't do common 7 day sailings, my Excel sheet says June 29 is a rotation date. Since you're boarding June 26 (turnaround on a Wed?) I would have to assume June 26 is the rotation date, and if they're doing 10 week rotations, you will have Thorsson. Come back here after your cruise and verify who your captain was. If it is Jukes, try to find out when he's going on vacation, he may be leaving the ship when you do.

ok, that makes more sense, you're just wishing you were leaving tomorrow :). Anyway, June 27 will be the rotation date. So if they're doing a 10 week rotation, you'll have Thorsson.

Anyone know who the captain of Anthem right now is? The reason I ask is because we loved the Captain on Anthem the last time we sailed on her but can't remember his name. I remember he is Croatian and he was in the documentary when Quantum made her maiden voyage. I am sure someone will know his name. Hoping we have him again on Anthem in late September. Thanks guys for any help.

Actually I just dug around a bit more and found who he is, Srecko Ban from Croatia. He is a really funny guy, great personality and you can see the confidence he has. Gives you confidence in the safety of the ship. I hope he is on Anthem in Sept. when we sail again.

Captain Dustin Castlesky is the Captain onboard Liberty this week.  Not sure why. It's mid-rotation on Liberty and Capt. Anders cycle, and mid Captain Dustin's rotation on Jewel.  Trying to get more info about how long he's on Liberty.  He and the new cruise Director, Brian, look like twins!  Really.

oooooh...Karen may have caught a ship change for me! My guess would be Capt Dustin and Capt Anders switched ships. I just need to confirm the date they started on their new ship.

I just read that Capt. Anders and family were on Jewel two weeks ago, and folks on the Liberty the first week in June and Dustin was there.  Sooooo
