NCL (Bliss) Port Changes After Final Payment - What Could Be The Problem?

Yup on the Bliss 11/3/18 Panama Cruise coming up soon.

 

After final payment in July port changes.

 

Originally in Mexico it was Manzanillo and PV.

Then changed to Cabo and Mazatlan. They blamed it on the State Dept. advisory even though their is none for PV.

 

Now NCL notified us today Cabo is out and being replaced with (yup you guessed it) Ensenada.

Their explanation was a berthing issue even though Cabo is a tender port.

 

So now we have a lousy Mexico port stops.

 

I am awaiting the next port change, Cape Horn in lieu of the Canal due to rain in Panama.

Cabo it is all about getting commitments from the local water taxi tenders. It's a pretty far run and you don't want to be using the ship's lifeboats. If you don't get enough of the larger shore tenders, you're better off not stopping there.

Well we are taking this cruise to go thru the new locks I know is disappointing about what ports we are going too. We are on a great new ship with lots of things to do stay on the ship and take advantage of all the ship offer.

Carnival Splendor has originally been scheduled there the same same day. I’m guessing they can’t handle the tendering for that many people: 2 ships one being the largest ever to visit Cabo and the west coast. Since carnival Splendor was always scheduled to port there they gave NCL the boot

 

The better substitute would have been a Caribbean port on the way to Miami ��

Ours in January 2019 has been changed also. St. Thomas and Tortola have flip flopped days due to St Thomas port not being able to handle that many pax on scheduled day!
