rid891 Posted October 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2018 They list the eligable spirits by name but also say up to $9 per drink...so, my question is if a " Premium plan " spirt is 9 bucks or less does it still work under the classic pkg? Specifically looking at Makers which in resent menu pixs shows a cost of $8.50... thanks in advance
RICCruisers Posted October 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2018 Classic drinks are up to $9.00. If Makers is $8.50 it would be included. My guess is that you are looking at an old drink menu. The only possible exception that I have heard of is the Drink of the Day which is sometimes under $9.00 and is not included in the Classic Package depending on who the bartender is. imapost2003 Posted October 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2018 I've been on 4 celebrity cruises with the classic drink package. 3 out of the 4 I was able to get makers, 1 I was not. Bar keeps choice I guess.

jshli Posted October 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted October 17, 2018 Is specialty and fancy coffee included under the classic beverage package, and if not, what about cappuccino?
wahwah1 Posted October 17, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 17, 2018 Cappuccino, latte, nice tea are included. Some specialty coffee (with alcohol) were included if under the $9 limit. In March 2018, aspen coffee was raised over $9 so it was not included.
Rare PTC DAWG Posted October 17, 2018 #8 Share Posted October 17, 2018 (edited) So it drinks are over $9 you can pay the difference? Or upgrade to the top of the line package and pay the difference in daily costs? $55 to 69...$14 a day plus gratuity. Sounds like an upgrade is my ticket. Man cannot be expected to live on Jim Beam BOURBON. Not when there are better choices to be had. Edited October 17, 2018 by PTC DAWG

Indulge in our Premium Beverage Package for top-shelf brands like Glen ddich, Grolsch, Grey Goose, Hendrick’s, Patrón, and more. With a Classic or Premium beverage package, you can sample any brand we serve and pay only the difference" Go to your cruise planner, click on Beverage packages and experiences, click on classic. Once on that page, under overview, you will see classic package highlighted in blue, click on that and it brings up a brochure. Rare shipshape sam Posted October 21, 2018 #15 Share Posted October 21, 2018 On our last cruise, we did purchase a couple of drinks at the world bar that were even higher than the premium package limit and thus had to pay the difference. I think it was a $1 more plus the 18% gratuity.
