Biscuit1947 Posted November 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2018 Is there transportation from the Civitavecchia Cruise Port to the Civitavecchia train station?
CruiserBruce Posted November 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2018 If you look on the Italy board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/464-italy-ports/ you will see many discussions on the topic. You can take a free shuttle from your ship to an area where you can catch a bus, which I believe is 1.5 euros. Or you can try to convince a taxi to take the pretty short run. paul929207 Posted November 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2018 It is less than a half mile walk from the port entrance to the train station
JMorris271 Posted November 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2018 We took a small bus to the gate on the port from the train station.
Rare MicCanberra Posted November 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted November 19, 2018 Port shuttle to the gate and a 10 minute walk, a bit of a hassle with bags though. Get a taxi.
Kazzygirl Posted November 21, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2018 I have done this trip many times. The ship will shuttle you to the port gate. From here it is a flat leisurely walk past shops along the sea front of about 10mins to the train station. The worst part are the cobbled street so stick to the sea side promenade. Be prepared for the stairs at the train station though, no lifts when I was there last time.
