 Does anyone know what will be playing in January? We will be on the Ruby Princess if it matters. Thank you!

Princess will probably send you an email a couple of weeks before the cruise. On December 2nd we received one entitled "Its Nearly Showtime" for our 10 day Crown Princess cruise departing on December 17th.  It listed Christopher Robin and Crazy Rich Asians.

I enjoy MUTS, too.  But I don't have the answer you seek.  I have noticed they seem to play fairly current movies, especially in the evenings

i received same email for our Dec 20 cruise on the Island.  Same movies as above.

Thank you all. I've seen the movies that you listed but my friend has not so she will be very happy.

New movies are added and some old ones removed around the first of each month. Nobody on this forum can tell you at this time which will be added and which will be removed for January.

This reviewer and others say the MUTS screen on the Ruby looks terrible.

They showed the latest Mama Mia movie on the Dec 1st Ruby cruise.

Rudy does not send out emails regarding what's onboard during upcoming cruises....but on our last trip last month, it was rather dismal...

We've seen some fun movies at MUTS, and some duds.  It gets chilly watching a movie on deck at night, even in the Caribbean, so I bring some fuzzy socks and a sweatshirt + the MUTS blanket.  Often, the same movies will be on tv in a day or two, so if the weather is bad for viewing outdoors and it's a movie you really want to see, there's a second chance.

Don't forget that the Ruby now has On Demand movies.   If you like watching in your stateroom you will have  many movies to choose from.

Yes, I love On Demand TV!  Glad Ruby has it, we're booked on her later.

See post #8 above. Luckily there are others things to do so you don't have too look at terrible MUTS screen.

We always find things to do so if MUTS is bad we'll move on to something else.

Does MUTS ever show movies with captions?  Sometimes it's very hard to hear outside when folks walk through and are talking.

No for the subtitles, thank goodness

Just recently on the CB some of the MUTS movies did have sub titles.

I wish they would also broadcast the audio on a separate channel so I could use my phone with ear phones to hear it rather than crank up the volume to the point of being distorted.

With all the noise around it's sometimes difficult to distinguish what's being said.

 I really enjoyed MUTS on my January Ruby Princess cruise.   My next cruise on the Ruby  will be in March.  Do you know how often the movies change? I hope there are some new additions.
