NateUpNorth Posted December 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2018 Did anyone wanna let Haiti and the Dominican Republic know they've been acquired and turned into an RCL property? Laughing so hard I might start crying......

I think the OP's point was the survey said "island", which some may interpret as the whole island of Hispaniola, instead of the word "peninsula".

Merion_Mom Posted December 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2018 RC usually uses the term “private destination”.
The Fun Researcher Posted December 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 19, 2018 "Private Port" would have been most appropriate I believe. To RCI's defense, it really does feel like a private island to me. I love Labadee and look forward to it every cruise. It's an extremely picturesque, relaxing port with a wonderful beach (Columbus) to chill out by and grab the included lunch when you like. The Dragon's Breath Zipline is a plus as well. Each of our kids have done it as they "graduated" into the allowed height and weight. An experience that has long lasting memories for us.
