Ok, I agree with everything you wrote. I still don't understand how sunshine affects the Martini Bar. Sunshine usually an issue for pre-dinner cocktails. Well lets try this again... if it is raining... you are not likely to be at the pool... so what to do... well one thing ...especially if you have a drink package.. is to drown your sorrows at the bar. With only one decent bar indoors... it could get crowded... normally you would by laying out in the sun ordering from the pool bar or perhaps sitting a the sunset bar .. but if the weather is unpleasant.. well ... your options are limited... I believe that was the point she was making

It is the only main gathering place for pre and post dinner drinks. So, no matter what the weather it is crowded. I believe that was the point she was making Thanks for trying to explain the post, but your explanation doesn't make any sense. She specifically talked about being crowded in the sunshine. "It was beyond crowded in the sunshine" Nothing about coming in from the rain.

It was RIDICULOUSLY over the top criticism and I enjoyed every moment new coke and Coke II myself!;) The extra touches of sweetness made it the favorite in blind taste tests, but people are set in their ways! Unfortunately there was no choice at first until they brought back Coca-Cola Classic. Seriously, everyone can do either or on these ships!
kearney Posted January 21, 2019 #87 Share Posted January 21, 2019 Okay.... I was wondering how the veranda compared to comparable veranda on an S class ship.... in terms of usable space... not size based on architects drawings. The useable space in the IV cabin I had (E3) was 7'4" wide... 4'6" deep... size if bifold doors closed. This translates to 33 sq ft... advertised in some places as 40 sq ft others as 42 sq ft. A friend is on Silhouette in a C3 cabin... His veranda measured 8'5" by 6'6" or 54 sq ft... advertised as 55... so close. So furniture choices are dictated by the space being almost 40% smaller. Perhaps on the Beyond they could make the veranda deeper... there is really nothing they can do to make it wider... but if deeper it would be easier to lean back. Or perhaps just forget the IVs totally and go back to conventional balconies 🤔? Edited January 21, 2019 by villauk
kearney Posted January 21, 2019 #89 Share Posted January 21, 2019 I actually like the IV cabin... it was just too small for two people. Might be a better idea to remove one chair and stop pretending that two can use it... make it one that reclines. At least then one person could turn it and lay back... not sure table will still fit then... oh well.
Rare ghstudio Posted January 21, 2019 #90 Share Posted January 21, 2019 Are there any non-suite categories that have regular balconies on the edge? Are there any aqua or concierge cabin with a "sit outside" with the sky over my head balcony?

Have me wondering about that one... need to look it up to be sure that we have not missed anything.. I cannot wait to read your review, along with others and for items of interest before we board in November!!!
