Beverage package with disabled dependent in the same room

My wife and I are considering the Deluxe Beverage package, however the policy states that everyone over 21 in the room must purchase it. Our daughter who is now 30 is a disabled dependent will also be with us. We have purchased her the Soft drink package which is what she likes. She cannot have and does not care for any other beverages in these packages. Her meds also would not permit this. Has anyone else dealt with this issue and how did you handle it? Thanks

All you need to do is call RCCL and explain that. Then you two can get the deluxe and she can get the soda package. It’s just not possible to do online. But if you call them and explain your specific situation, there shouldn’t be a problem.

Based on past threads here, they usually require the refreshment package as opposed to the soda package. That said, I do hope they will make an exception in your case.

Don't get it until you're onboard...they have LOTS more lee-way with who purchases what.  Just wait...explain your issues and they are more likely than not to fix it for you.

Beverage packages are almost always full price onboard. That could be a extra $30.00 per day over a pre cruise sale price for 2. .

OP isn’t looking to purchase refreshment package. They have purchased soda package - that’s the problem - soda package is not the same as refreshment package (soda only; cheaper than refreshment).
