We are going on a panama canal cruise in march...i am getting so many different readings on this subject...

do we need special immunizations, or proof of them at some ports...please help me...once and for all..thanks for the information

Immunizations not necessary for cruises or land vacations to Panama.  However, it's good to be current with standard vaccines and boosters, including flu, pneumonia, tetanus, Hep A&B if you are cruising or not.

No...you need NO shots or vaccinations at all to cruise there.  If you have health issues, your doctor might want you to do something, but NOTHING is required.

We did a Panama Canal cruise in April 2018. No vaccinations required.

Have completed 20+ transits of the canal and never required any vaccinations.

 

However, World Health recommendations are constantly changing, so the only definitive advice you should rely on is your family doctor or a specialised travel clinic.
