Cape Liberty Hotels nearby?

Im so sorry if this question has been asked before.  I am sailing with a large group in August, has anyone had any luck finding a hotel close to the port where you can also leave your car and be shuttled to the pier?

Not knowing your direction of in bound travel. We stay in the Parsippany,  NJ area. The cost for us is less and have many options.

The travel time is about 45 minute drive to the pier. We pay the $20 (cost 2 years ago) per day to park at the pier. I'm ok with the cost because it is less than air fare.

The Country Inn & Suites in Elizabeth has a park & cruise package.

I wish we had avoided this hotel in October 2017....very run down...and have heard recently that nothing has changed. Several other choices across the street and down the street even a couple that you usually recommend. The area/location is great but not this hotel.

We are staying at the Comfort Inn in Staten Island for our 23 Feb cruise on Anthem of the Seas.  I will report on our experience including getting to the ship.

Current intel has cost of parking at Bayonne pier at $22/day.
