Based on sightings, he seems to spend most of his time in the forward part of the ship. Finding him however is part of the fun.

I never did get to see him last week.  I looked and looked. Friends finally saw him and got pictures on the last day.

The Ultimate Abyss seems like the ultimate thrill but I had to pass on this when my son exited it minus the skin on his arms Ouch! Note to self...wear long sleeves when attempting this monster of a slide

You have to hold the strap palms up like they have in the instructions. It doesn't feel natural but if you do you really cant stick out your elbows.

I know that feeling all to well! Last year on the Harmony the same happen to me. It hurt so bad for at least a couple of weeks. DH had to help me place a dressing on my arm every morning while I dressed for work. I have a daily reminder of my time on the Abyss. I did hold my arms as instructed however, my right arm came loose & rubbed against the metal. Don't get me wrong it's a fun ride! I will be packing a long sleeved tee for my ride this year on Symphony!

I want to say...Thanks for bringing us along with you & your family on your vacation! I really enjoyed your reviews & pictures .I look forward to hearing from you. Safe travels home!

Day 7 wrap up as I sit in the Promenade by Copper & Kettle listening to music, might head up to Dazzles next.

Sad news of the trip: I watched 3 people stand on the pier helpless as the ship pulled away. 2 got left behind in Roatan too. 😮

Did Dazzles have a Filipino cover band?

Departure day blues. Everyone’s walking around in a daze, not enough coffee to make up for the final night 😞.

Disembarking with the Key was great. We could eat anywhere, leave anytime & although our personal escort was MIA, we found the special line by Sorrentos (most crew didn’t seem to know where it was) The luggage 🧳 for Key members was by the Suite & Pinnacle area.

I’ll be doing a separate review for the Key when I’m fully awake.

Thank you for taking the time to do this review and for your beautiful photos. I look forward to your review of the Key as it will be specific to Symphony.

I was also on this cruise and brought home an Abyss souvenir.  I held the straps as instructed, but somehow tipped over sideways and went down part of the slide with my forehead rubbing the side.  It could have been worse; I have just two spots about the size of a dime each where the skin was rubbed off my forehead.  And I will be trying it again next time.

Some people on our shuttle this morning were saying that the people left behind had children they had left on the ship.  I hope that is just a false rumor.
