Room service on Jewel and more...

When does room service on the Jewel of the Sea begin on the first day?  I'm interested in getting some light snacks (fruit/cheese) sent to our two adjoining rooms to make our first day/sail away special. 

 

Also...On a Greek Island cruise can we bring on a case of bottle water or some canned soft drinks?  I've seen mixed reports. I know we are planning to bring on our bottle of wine each. 😄

Room service normally begins after muster.

 

Royal allows 12 factory sealed containers of soft drinks in a carry-on, each no larger than 500ml.

The allowance includes water as well.

Fantastic!  I know Carnival has stopped allowing Water to be carried on.  Glad RC has not changed.

I'd take Carnival's policy any day over Royal's.  Carnival offers bottled water for purchase onboard for much much less than Royal.  It would save having to lug water onboard.

You could also get those things in the Windjammer and take them to your cabin yourself.  🙂
