Not everyone had "problems" that needed to be addressed on Pursuit.  We had one minor issue over 30+ days in December and January.  Pretty darn good record, I'd say.

Gotta agree.  And we were on earlier (October and November) for about the same number of days and nary a glitch except for unavoidable itinerary adjustments.

A small snag in the Living Room. I asked for a negroni with Tanquaray 10 (we have the UBP) but it came with Bombay Saphire and no orange slice. Also no olive in the dirty martini. The bar was understaffed and we went to the bar counter as no server came to our position, but the barman was working flat out on his own, and in any case quickly made me another negroni. In isolation not a big deal!

We were on Pursuit's maiden and did not experience any "problems" -- the improvements to Pursuit in my opinion make it a shinier and nicer ship than Quest and Journey (and I'm disappointed these changes will not be made before my Journey cruise in July), the food was actually the best we have had on Azamara (admittedly it was only our 3rd AZ cruise), service was awesome, I was frankly very surprised at how seamless everything felt on a maiden voyage.  Yes, the pool chair cushions had not arrived, no, did not notice difficulty in beverage service in the Sunset Terrace, no, did not miss the casino and yes, loved The Den, and yes, there were a few leaks in our hallway that were quickly addressed but these were maiden voyage niggles not entrenched problems that in any way interfered with the AZ experience.  Pursuit is shiny and beautiful and a wonderful addition to the AZ fleet.  The only thing I missed from Quest and Journey:  the Dim Sum brunch that we experienced on both those ships!

Hi everyone.  We are just back yesterday after a couple of weeks onboard Pursuit.  Cabin was kept spotless, service in restaurants and bars top notch,  and there are lots of smiles and good mornings etc from the crew.

I did manage to speak to some senior staff (that we knew from quest and journey) and they all admitted that they did have many teething problems.  The initial crew plan apparently was to have a rough 50/50 split of new recruits and old hands from the other ships, however that didnt pan out.  The split was more like 80/20 (20% being the experienced AZ crew).  I didnt get a full explanation why this was,  but they did admit that this had a negative effect during the initial few months.

Whilst i have no doubt there were issues as reported, im pleased to say we didnt experience anything negative that was a fault of the cruise line or its crew.

Nobody claimed that everyone had problems, but some clearly did as evidenced by multiple threads and reviews. No need to be dismissive of that. Very happy you had 30 perfect days.
