Cheapest I’ve ever done the Haven was a 2 BR suite on Getaway at the beginning of September 2022…$5804.91 for 3 people, and that’s with prepaid service charges.

That's a great deal. That's about what the Aft-facing costs for the 11/12 Joy sailing I just booked. It's a much better room than the fwd-facing I booked but the long commute between the room and the Haven courtyard with a toddler scares me so I went with the fwd-facing to be closer.

Haven Aft Penthouse on a 13 night transatlantic from Barcelona to Miami on the Epic in 2011 for an unbelievable $1900/pp.  We booked it while the Epic was still under construction. Of course back then, there were no free at sea deals so we had to pay for drinks.

We'll never see those prices again....

I have a running spreadsheet with conditional formatting to keep track of the best prices we've scored over the years. For a full Haven ship (Epic and up) I consider 'normal' around $500/pp/day. So to me, these were all bargains. I included the Star even though it doesn't have a Haven because that trip we snagged the 3 br garden villa. If we had more than 2 people in there, that would have been an even bigger steal of the century. The Pearl trip we had 4 people in that garden villa, so if we had a full 6 the price would have been even lower.

 

Reminding myself of these good scores helps justify the egregious price we're paying for the Prima next year...

Haven 2 Br with large balcony on the Bliss.  15 day Panama Canal in February of 2022.  $470 pp all in!  

 

We also had a 9 day on the Breakaway in a Haven Aft with large balcony for a May 2021 So. Caribbean that would have been $320 pp all in.  But Covid took that one 😢

 

Now I'm constantly hunting for another good bargain.

Yes, those are pp per night.  2 people and did include FAS and travel insurance.

For anyone interested in a last minute Panama canal trip, the Joy in February prices keep plummeting. Current cost for a Haven room with all FAS perks and airfare included is $340/pp/day. 2 days to go before final payment, so I'll attempt one last call on a price adjustment or OBC for the difference, again, for the 3rd time.

Wow! There are so many Haven rooms available...if I had two weeks of additional time on, I'd jump on this after final payment date to really get a sweet deal on a 14 day cruise. Unless a lot of bookings happen in the next two days, I bet prices will be in the mid-$2,000's per person soon.

Price dropped again another 1K from yesterday. Cheapest Haven room is now $309/pp/day.

 

Just $10 away from hitting that elusive $300 or bust magic number that some people hold steady and firm on.

why is that joy trip so cheap. to me anything under 2K a week is jackpot. my 1st spa haven was 2499 for the week in 2016 and i measure the bar by that cabin.

HE Penthouse suite

$1983pp total-includes all gratuities for dinners, drink package and the 7 days ones as well. Also includes payments for 3 different tournaments in the casino. Also includes the insurance as well. Nothing more out of pocket unless we buy something or want to do anything that you need to pay extra for.

The only thing I can think of is the itinerary change. They dropped Costa Rica, and swapped Puerto Vallarta for Acapulco which some are unhappy about. We're going for the canal transit, the other stops are bonus. Yes, I would have preferred Costa Rica over Panama City, but as long as I'm still going through the canal and have access to the Haven bar, I'm still going. 

 

To now be going for 30% less than I originally booked it at... even better.

I keep telling the husband I'm going to quit my job so I can go on a longer cruise...he's not exactly fond of this, especially since we purchased a house in June (locked in that super low rate before the hikes). 

 

But, oh my gosh, I wish I could join you! $300 per person...I remember that figure for some reason. 🤣

You should see my future trip planning spreadsheets.... I've got one for when I'm trying to convince friends/family to tag along with multiple cabin options priced out for 1 or 2+ travelers per cabin, and another one for us looking at mostly Haven (or equivalent) rooms first.
