RCCL 50 years

I was wondering if Royal Caribbean will have any special celebrations this year for their 50th or any old MDR menus, midnight buffets from their heyday? 

 

Would be cool to have a theater  show Royal through the years.

Many of us who will be sailing on the Presidents/Anniversary cruise are anxiously awaiting to see what will be planned.

There was a pretty interesting 2 part "story of royal" presentation in 270 on our recent anthem cruise. pretty detailed history piece narrated by CD Dennis and AD Hannah.

I found a book on eBay years ago that was the history of the company up to its 25th anniversary, starting with how the company was built from the ground up through Legend of the Seas.  Lots of vintage pics, and an informative read.  I'm hoping they will do the same for their  50th.

They use to show this yrs ago on my cruises, hadn't seen it in while though. I remember when there was only one part...

A while ago, someone post a photograph of the first Viking Crown Lounge.  It had to be accessed through an outdoor stairway.

 

Somehow, I don't think nowadays suite guests would find this acceptable.  😉

I believe I've seen a history of Royal on You Tube some time ago. Try putting in RCCL hiatory.
