Don't let F27TW get to you.  Jealousy or something.  We are doing Harmony in Sep. in a Crown Loft.  You are making me very excited about the cruise and I'm really looking forward to it thanks to your positive and great experience.  Keep up the great reviews!

Thanks no worries for me. I’m on a nine night cruise

During the day in the suite lounge can you get drinks or just beer and wine, if you pay for them?  Thank you for taking the time to do this review!

Full bar during the day, you pay for mixed drinks. “Free”  beer wine soda 11-11 my guess if wanted soda or mimosa  for breakfast it would be free too

A daily recap : in PR today, after breakfast walked off the ship, walked around up to fort around downtown. Heavy rain for 15 minutes, good thing we found an umbrella at the park to stand under.  the day goes quick when you gotta be back by 2.  To avoid the rush we went back around 1  had a drink in schooner, showered and went to ice show at 5pm. After went to SLfor a drink. No problem getting a window seat at 6pm . Dinner at CK was lobster- they prepare it cut into chunks with a champagne sauce- had a double portion; along with salmon sashimi appetizer  DW had scallops with salmon sashimi appetizer. After schooner bar for some music.  tomorrow is labadee- arrive around 10am, nice BBQ and beach

I think there's a little stretchin goin on here.

You'd actually be surprised how well crewmembers do remembering people they liked.  Two examples, no "stretchin going on."

We were on 14 night TA on Vision in 2012.  During the first Captain's Reception we (the guys) had Flamingo ties on (long story). The Captain was Captain Srecko Ban.  He commented on our ties and a friend suggested we were a fun group and  he should invite us to dinner.   He stated he would except there were a lot of Pinnacle and Suite people on board.  So we never gave it another thought.  Then about the end of week one, Captain Ban saw one of our group and said he was still trying to find a time to have us for dinner.  Nice comment, but we figured it was him just being the wonderful Captain that he is.  Then about 2 days before the third and last Formal Night, Captain Ban personally came to the Diamond Happy Hour and found one of our group.   He told her he had been looking all over for us and wanted to invite us to the Captain's Table for the last Formal Night and needed our cabin numbers.  Of course we all went and it was wonderful.  Captain Ban is one of the best.

A second example.  We were on Legend of the  Seas.  As is our custom, upon boarding I went to the MDR to check on our table.  It was horrible.  I asked the Restaurant staff manning the podium about changing and she said there was nothing she could do, but to check back upon arriving for dinner.  I talked to my wife and told her to go check it out and see.  If she agreed, and we couldn't get it changed, we'd try to switch to MTD or simply eat in the Windjammer.  So off she went.   She saw the table and agreed.  As she was leaving the MDR, a couple of Officers were talking.  One of them suddenly turned to my wife and said "I know you, I remember you from another cruise."  My wife, completely stunned, stopped and he asked what she was doing and she told him our table issue and that they said it can't be changed.  He immediately said "come with me."  Turns out it  was Rodrigo and he was the Restaurant Manager.  Rodrigo gave her the pick of 2 tables in a perfect location and told the staff to change us.  Rodrigo came by our table every night of the 11 night cruise, sent an email to Rhapsody to get us a great table for our upcoming Alaska cruise, and had us invited to the Captain's Table.

So, these things do happen.  Maybe not to you, but with your apparent negative attitude, I'm not surprised.  But, and I'm only guessing here, I bet the crew remember you a whole lot more than you think.

It appears you don't cruise as often as he does or as I have.  On a Celebrity Constellation cruise I was sent a bottle of wine by the captain, Head of Guest Relations once sent me a beautiful arrangement of flowers, chef in Tuscan Grille made a special appetizer for us.  I do not think he is stretching things at all.  I am sorry you have not had these great experiences.  There are to many to list and recall for me.  I am certain there are many CC members who have had similar experiences based on posts I have read.  Oh yes, I have had many wonderful evenings socializing with Hotel Directors as well as other officers on ships.  Please stop your bashing.

Daily recap.  Today we are are at labadee. We have been there many times and the buffet at barefoot beach is good, we decided to spend the day at the suite sun deck... in and out of the hot tub and shower. We met a couple from Australia who like us been there too  very nice conversations with them about cruises and travel   The bar opened at 1:00.... we all thought it should open earlier   When it opened we had drinks and chips  up to the room around 3 to rest shower and get ready for dinner.  The menu is a repeat of day 1. Harmony only has 7 day menus, but that is fine since day one is filet mignon. A perfect medium steak was like butter   Evening entertainment is aqua show. Hideaway heist... always a nice show  maybe schooner bar after

I was wondering if the sail a way on the hilo pad, was a private sail a way, or is that just where you chose to sail from that night?

I hope that you enjoyed your birthday cruise and anniversary!  Thanks for taking the time to write about your adventure!

Enjoy your final day at sea!

That is a major part of their job if they do it well is to remember your name.  I know my parent's have been on more cruises than I have and they of had the same waiter or room steward and they remembered their name.  The bartenders are good on the ships too with remembering names if you tip them well.

Someone has said that men must wear long pants in the suite lounge on formal night. Is it true that shorts are not allowed? Is this true for Coastal Kitchen also?  Thank you.

i saw people wearing shorts in both suite lounge and Ck....I didn't see them throw anyone out, but I was not paying attention to what others wear.....I wore shorts in CK/SL for breakfast and lunch....but always wore long pants for dinner

People are wearing anything they wish.  We were on Allure a few weeks ago and no one wore shorts at the Happy Hour.  But like people said, you won't get kicked out for it.  However it isn't what Royal Caribbean asks.  Here's what the Concierge Lounge dress request is from their website, it's the same for Suite Lounge:

"We respectfully request that guests observe a Smart Casual dress code when visiting the Lounge (no swim or pool attire is allowed, footwear is required at all times)"

"Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with collared shirts, dresses, skirts and blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sports coats and blazers are snazzy and welcomed."
