Mrs SafeandSound Posted April 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Will we be able to watch game of thrones on the gem? Sailing 4/26? We will be Bermuda on Sunday.
Rare ColeThornton Posted April 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Highly doubtful. I've never seen an HBO show on any of my many cruises.
Rare JamieLogical Posted April 20, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2019 No. The TV lineup is extremely limited. I suggest you record it or just watch it on HBO Go when you get home.

Don't worry about missing an episode. Somebody dies, somebody has sex, episode over.

bearette Posted April 20, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Even streaming may not work, I have tried using Amazon out of country and it tells me most shows are not available due to licensing agreements. Stay of social media and watch it as soon as you get back.

david_sobe Posted April 20, 2019 #11 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Although cruise lines including NCL get flamed for poor channels, its so much better than it was 10 years ago. I will never forget sailing the NCL Jewel back in 2009. Besides some kid's channel, nature channel, the only channel I watched for news was BCC CNN. I felt like I was in a foreign country. AK Dreaming Posted May 5, 2019 #14 Share Posted May 5, 2019 I was in Bermuda the after the first episode of season 8 last month. I tried everything to get the episode with no luck.
Mrs SafeandSound Posted May 5, 2019 Author #15 Share Posted May 5, 2019 No such luck watching in bermuda or on the ship. I watched when I got home and stayed off social media to avoid spoilers 🙂 Have fun on the cruise!
esm54687 Posted May 5, 2019 #16 Share Posted May 5, 2019 (edited) If you have HBO through your cable provider you may watch GoT through their app. I have Xfinity and stream many shows this way. I also have TMO so I'm able to stream while roaming in Bermuda without issue...... but never on the ship because of the huge cost Edited May 5, 2019 by esm54687
