Questions about the Serenade

Recommended Posts

We have taken several cruises on RC, but the usually the mega ships. We have been on the Freedom once and the Mariner. I've been looking at a cruise to Bermuda on the Serenade, and we're just concerned that we might be bored on it with having 3 sea days. Do you find that there is plenty to do? I see they have miniature golf, but what else do they have? I think the mega ships have spoiled us, but I really want to go to Bermuda and the dates would be perfect.

We booked Serenade last year to Bermuda out of Boston and booked again for this September.  This will be out third cruise on Serenade.  We love it.  Plenty to do especially if you like the casino.  We have done 3 Oasis class cruises and a couple on Anthem.  They all have there own special "feel" about them and you will never be bored. Self-leveling pool tables too.

Sailed her only once.  We found that that there was usually something to do...just less variety than the big ship.  We did find ourselves deciding to go to bed early (before 11:00) a few nights because there was nothing that made us want to stay up later.  That turned out to be a good thing as we were well rested and relaxed at the end of the cruise.

We sailed Serenade to Hawaii. I love that ship so much, as it feels you are connected with the ocean. Views of the ocean are everywhere. We especially like the Balcony Cabins on deck 7 forward... the balconies are deep, and perfect for reading and relaxing. If you run out of things to do, you can always hang out on the balcony. 🙂
