Would like to know the temperature on the ship and the best type of clothing to wear while onboard.

Plan for layers, though all indoor venues will be comfortable.

Will you be visting the casino?  We are sailing 7/5 and hubby is curious what the table minimums are for Black Jack and Ultimate holdem.

Enjoy your cruise!

Yes, I’m a roulette player but will check out the mins on the others.

I will be on the July 5th sailing and am interested in the specialty restaurants as we will be there on our honeymoon. Another question, is if you do go to dinner in the MDR, are there tables for two?

Thank you and I look forward to your post!

Specialties are:

Chops - steak

Wonderland - adventurous eating

Jamies - Italian

Izumi - Sushi and Japanese

There are indeed tables for two in all of the above MDR and Windjammer.

(Just off Ovation on May 2 - May 13)

Blackjack, hold'em and craps were $10 min last night around 930

I played a few hands of BJ. It was $5 buy in for 3 hours. BJ pays 6to5 at that level.

40 hands I was down $2 before tipping the dealer. If BJ paid 3to2 I would have been up.

Dealer couldn't count, he swept my 3 card 21 on a push. I started to move my hand to point it out and he saw what he did.

Staff friendly.

Wasn't any smoke when I was there which was nice.

Would be interested to know if once on board can you book the other shows they have besides Pixels or will all those just be First Come First Served?  Also, as already mentioned what days are Formals.

The first 7 day sailing is just leaving today so no feedback on formal nights yet, but likely days 2 and 6.

No reservations for anything other than Pixels, yet.

I would love Pics of the closets and what shelves and drawers they have.

Maybe pics off the balcony, down the side of the ship, If that's possible.

Thanks, we are going in September.  I am so looking forward to all the reviews this summer. The fact that people take time out of their vacations to do these reviews is a nice gesture.  Very grateful for these.

Interested in how they handle the Escape Room? The cost and where they are having you registrar?

Escape room is free and can be booked via the Royal iQ app, Seaplex desk or GS.

Thanks Biker!

For the Royal App. do you need to purchase a Voom package for it to work optimally? or does it just run off your phone data?

If you are going to the airport the taxi wait time was horrible today. I got my luggage about 955 and was at the airport about 1210

Either walk off with your luggage, use port valet, arrange a shuttle or hoof it or shuttle to uber area. Not sure how well that worked this morning.

If you need a wheel chair allow for plenty of time, RCI had 6 for over 120 passengers according to a family checking in at the airport at the same time as me.

Neither, just connect to the ship WiFi.

If you have the 4:30am scheduled arrival in Seattle (I understand that some sailings arrive at 6am and some arrive at 4:30am), I would love to see the disembarkation instructions, so I can get a feel for how they schedule the groups with the earlier arrival.

I wouldn’t think that it changes anything with the disembarkation times.  It’s just when the ship arrives.
