Here we go, stay tuned. Ship is in early, flying past LQA and on the way.

Taking the Queen's Midtown Tunnel, skipping 59th Street Bridge.

Dailies later, feel free to post questions & will answer when ... going to see how good or bad satellite WiFi is onboard, etc.

Dropped off at 9.30 & super early, quite empty.

Mking, you have been the sleeper agent talking about cheap last minute Escape trips and you slip in a Dawn.  How can shareholders make a decent return if you take these low fare trips?  Oh, wait a minute, you are a shareholder.

All joking aside, envious you can take these trips due to location.  Have a great trip and enjoy without staying in touch until you get back.  Rest assured, we here on CC will stay true to form and argue among ourselves and will keep you informed of any price increases or service cutbacks, for your convenience, of course.

We've been on Dawn once and Star twice and they serve their purpose but not something we'd book again unless unique route lime this one or price is right.  I will say the Dawn looked pretty good after last drydock.

@graphicguy Dawn next weekend prices are pretty good & low, LoL ... should you. Read about the deals from our fellow solo they nailed just days ago booking it.

@dexddd haha, Susan & I needed a break & the deal is too good to not consider, should've waited another 2 weeks for a real steal ... for a SailAway Mini, LOL. Going to check for any new menu items and or changes, for the convenience.

Anyway, Security opened at 10 am, got thru in about 10 minutes, Platinum check-in in 5 minutes with no wait.  Sitting in roped off lounge, announced boarding time at 11am and staterooms are ready.  Woohoi, I can take a nap before going to MDR for a sit-down lunch with our gang of 8, minus our dearest SIL as she's on eternal cyber cruise mode in Heaven.

Not running the Roll Call this time, likely just help to another Cabin Crawl, cruisers from other lines sailing want to checkout those suites.

Not going to say a word about fresh lobsters.

Life in steerage, porthole OV, it will do with 5 port days out of 7, upgrade bid covered indirectly by OBC.

Venetian MDR open for lunch, no 2018 new lunch menu items.  Portion size is "healthy eating" ...

Norwegian App is working.  WiFi is logged in differently.

See those luggage ... right on the dock, safety net just in case.  Always good idea to cash tip the porter when checking bags.

Thank you so much for this!  Would love to see the dailies and any other things that you can share.  We are on the Dawn June 1, and would love any information we can get.

Have a great trip - Enjoy!!

Luz is CD on our sailing. ACD is Vo.

Can't believe this is the same ship we sailed in 2003 and 2005, great refurbished job. But, no USB ports in our OV and only one 110v outlet next to a 220v outlet. Whew, outlet power tap & 4 port USB charger is what I always carry.

Got our checked bags delivered by 1:45 pm, all unpacked. Welcome Abroad, one show tonight at 8:30 pm.

Booked Moderno for 8 later in the week at 5:30 pm, had to get the system override as the small place is maxed to 6 on the App.

Clock ahead by 1 hour overnight to ADT zone, before we get to Halifax, good ! Need to fill out Canadian Declaration Card & turn them in by 4 pm tomorrow.

Ship is said to be at full capacity, no upgrade onboard. Muster drill is 3:30 pm.

I am aboard for the week Mking! Have a great time, watching you on port fever sail toward the bridge! Have a great week. I have been off the boards with work so much we booked this cruise next week in a mini on a great deal as I could not hold out any longer, so checked to see if there were any reports to watch and you are filling the gap for us!

Thanks again for this and I will be following all week!

Dinner at Venetian. No new 2019 menu yet.

Stopped at the small but busy small casino briefly to make a donation.

Look for 2nd 220v outlet here bring a simple adapter plug.

On ship WiFi' not too bad.

Following (with glee) 🙂

On the Dawn in 33 days...this is lovely. So excited to hear Luz is on board - she has been a bolt of energy on 3 different boats with us as CD ad ACD.

Thank you for taking the time to post - really making a lot of folks happy!

Satellite WiFi at sea, slow but not horrible, usable and adequate. I just won't stream with it, not even on premium plan. Internet Cafe onboard is a joke, a corner next to ship's photo center.

FB working fine, Ooma and Google Voice calling worked & connected, WhatsApp VoIP calling over WiFi, all sounded fine on test calls placed.

Early dinner at LeBistro at 5:30 and then 7 pm show. More later.

Dailies will get posted by mid-week, as I can, promised.
