Birdie And Sue Posted May 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2019 How in thw world do I get CCL to STOP sending me cruise offers? I get one or two a month, and even this latest one of a free cabin, $200 in casino free play, and free drinks is overpriced for a CCL cruise IMHO. I really want them to top sending me stuff. Any ideas who to contact or how to get off of their mail list?

christyran1228 Posted May 16, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2019 Go to Carnival.com and click on your profile. Then click on "Contact Settings" and uncheck the box for mail.

maryred Posted May 16, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 16, 2019 These sound more like casino offers from Ocean Players Club. Deleting you contact preference from Carnival.com may not affect these. Call the number on the offer and asked if they can remove you from the casino perks list.

Any ideas who to contact or how to get off of their mail list? You have never cruised before and are getting 'free' cruise offers from a cruise line casino? Why would you even be on their mailing list? Be an adult and call them to be removed. A cruise chat board is not the way to go. And you consider a free cruise on a line you have never experienced to be overpriced? What was your real reason for posting this here?

The only one we sailed was pretty bad. Very dirty ship, way way too many passengers well past drunk to the point of being obnoxious, and the food left a lot to be desired with no late night food at all. The redeeming part was that I left the casino with almost $10,000 of their money.

No more mail will be heading this way thank God! Thanks for the help from those of you who posted useful info.

Out of eleven Carnival cruises, we have never, ever seen a dirty ship. There area always crew members sweeping or polishing or painting. By the way, if I ever won $10,000 on a cruise ship, I think I'd try my luck again on that ship. 😉 1

In fact, I'd bet that a vast majority of people don't like getting it and would love to make it stop, regardless of how easy it is to throw it away. Nothing wrong with trying to get off of a mailing list. On 5/16/2019 at 7:14 PM, Birdie And Sue said: That why most people end up broke in a casino whereas I walk away with their money. Gamblers only ever talk about how much they've won, never about how much they've lost over the years. Some gamblers may not go broke doing it, but 99% of them put more in than they've ever gotten out. There's a reason for the saying, "the house always wins." Life is to short to go through the hassle of getting angry at a piece of mail, complaining on an internet forum about it for days/weeks, contacting the company to be removed from the mailing list, only to have junk mail continue from other companies. When I get rid of it right away, I can honestly say I never think about it again.

And if I didn't get any mail, I'd have NO excuse to walk to the mailbox 2 blocks away to check my mail. And if I didn't walk those 2 blocks each day, I'd get ZERO exercise. So I consider junk mail as contributing to my ongoing effort to be more fit! How's THAT for logic??? LOL!

When I get rid of it right away, I can honestly say I never think about it again. It takes very little effort for me to send an email telling a company to remove me from their mailing list. I have had to do it by phone once or twice, but again, one simple phone call and that's it. Hardly the life waster you claim it to be. Is the OP complaining for days/weeks? Maybe I missed something.
