We have not cruised with Azamara in several years. Do they still have Officer`s hosting tables in the MDR?

I believe so.  We have dined with the Cruise Director and some of the staff.

Yes, but it tends to be for an early dinner time - we don’t usually eat until 7:45/8:00. If I remember correctly the last time we got invited to an officer hosted table it was for dinner at 6/6:30.

It can also depend on the length of the cruise and how many sea days, on short duration cruises officers can be busy with other events.

Not always early. They also sometimes do a “mass hosting” so all the middle section tables are hosted by various officers. Involves about 50-60 guests

We have recently returned from b2b. On both legs we were invited to hosted meals. We met in Mosaic at 6 15 for drinks and then ate. Both meals were very leisurely and last over 2 hours. The officers we met we were probably unlikely to meet around the ship and were interesting and informative. The other guests were great and we met them frequently throughout the cruises for coffee/drinks/dinner or just a chat.
