C-sea Posted June 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2019 I don't have a drink package but will be in a suite. At meals will I have an option for complimentary wine/beer?
Rare cruisestitch Posted June 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2019 No, there are no complimentary drinks outside of Michael’sClub/Retreat.
Northern Aurora Posted June 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2019 It may look to you as if complimentary glasses of wine are being served, but that is because so many folks in Suites have a beverage package.

You could stop in Michael's for a pre-dinner drink and take a glass of wine from Michael's with you into Luminae. We saw more than a few people doing this on our cruise. 1

We saw more than a few people doing this on our cruise. We observed this as well on our recent cruise. We were on a resident rate, so no included beverage package. I wasn’t entirely comfortable carrying glasses of wine from the Retreat into Luminae on a nightly basis, but certainly don’t fault others who do. We would buy bottles of red wine, thanks to the 20% Elite+ discount which made their mark up a little more tolerable. In doing so, on some nights I would bring a glass of white from the Retreat to enjoy with my starter course, and then drink a glass of red with the entree from our purchased bottle. Worked well for us as I enjoyed the nice service and suggestions from the Luminae Sommelier. 1
Rare chemmo Posted June 8, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 8, 2019 Remember you can also board with two nice bottles and then just pay corkage in the restaurant ($25?).
