Solarium on the Allure..

How strict are the staff about enforcing the age restrictions in the solarium? When we were on our last Royal cruise there were children in the solarium and the staff were not enforcing. It was not wonderful to put it mildly.

Go find a pool attendant and ask them to remove the offending youngsters.

Not sure about Allure, we will sail on her this October for the first time. Last summer on the Liberty of the seas, my daughter was asked to leave the solarium pool. She was entering the pool with a drink from the bar....she is 22. We had to laugh at her for a little while.

They will not enforce it....you will have to live with that...👎🙄😱

Depends where you are talking about. Children are allowed in the restaurant within the solarium.  They are not allowed in the pool, lounging area, etc.  You need to tell an attendant if anywhere except the restaurant.

Just went to the solarium pools yesterday and didn't see any kids. We didn't stay bc it was crazy crowded with adults and it was hot with all those windows intensifying the sun.

Remember that children are defined by Royal as under 16, so some people that ordinary humans consider to be children are adults for the purpose of solarium access.

Not my experience, I've seen them ask young children to leave many times.

Our experience is about 50/50 one cruise was so overun with children.... the boss of security told us they do not have enough resources to keep the children out of the Solarium.... 👎🙄

Been on Allure twice and saw almost no kids either time. Last year the pool attendants were very visible I did see one tell a family the Solarium was adults only.

I ask because our last RC cruise the children were about all under 16. Including a very obnoxious child. I had words with the mother of the little angel.
