Quick AQ Question

If you are Elite can you book AQ1 and pay AQ2 price.  We can book AQ1 for 200 more per person for 13 day cruise but A2 is what we are paying for CC today.  Plus husband loves Persian Garden so we wouldn’t have to purchase him a length of pass cruise.  We’ve never done AQ so we’d use Persian Garden.  

 

Is Blu good for dinner?

Yes. The only category you can’t get a higher  level is Suites.

Blu is the reason most book AQ

If you are a CC member (as noted in the last post), you get an A1 for A2 price.  We love Blu and Persian garden!

If you have cruise celebrity before, you should be able to book an A1 and A2 price....any TA can book it that way.  Since it is the same price as your current cabin...there is one caveat.  If you are past final payment, celebrity will allow you to switch to a different category of cabin as long as the price is $1 more than what you paid.  2 things to note in that sentence....it's vs what you paid, not the current price....and if the price is the same, you may have a problem making the change.

 

Blu is a smaller dining room with more personalized service...serving breakfast and dinner....yes it's good for dinner

I will only ever do Aqua class. Blu is everything! Excellent food in a beautiful more intimate dining  space.

Blu is very good for dinner but expect fewer choices than the MDR.  Breakfast is our favorite meal in Blu.    What people really mean when they say "intimate" is that the tables for two are very close to each other.  Very close.  

 

 We usually stay in the A2 rooms by the main elevator  on S-Class ships  as we don't want to be under the pool as we are light sleepers.  Check out the room location.    The Persian Gardens are a perk that we take advantage of.

Thank you for all your advice.  I moved to AQ1 for an additional $68 pp for a thirteen day Transatlantic.  Just the savings for Persian Garden well makes up the difference.
