Ice show on Adventure of the Seas. Reservations?

We're sailing on Adventure of the Seas in a couple weeks.  I'm wondering if the ice skating show is first-come-first-served or whether we can make reservations.  I've been told the shows in the main theater are first-come-first-served, but I'm not sure about the ice skating show.  If reservations are needed, I assume I'll be able to book through the RCI app once I'm on board?

And a similar question: if we want to try ice skating ourselves, do we have to book reservations? Or do we just show up and stand in line to rent ice skates? Thanks for any help and pointers.

You cannot make pre-cruise or onboard reservations.  If they have some sort of access control, they will notify you onboard.  For a time, access was via muster station, but I've also read than it is first come, first served.

The times of "open skating" will be listed in the Cruise Compass.  There is no charge.  You must wear long pants and socks.

Suites have reserved seats, good thing is show is repeated several times , first show is normally standing room only , last show has empty seats .

In addition, Pinnacle and Key have reserved seats.
