Rare Drock20J Posted September 9, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2019 I was just there on Friday. We got off and walked around. Nothing really out of the ordinary. The island was in great shape!
1025cruise Posted September 9, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2019 Haven't heard anything about Nassau. Now for the ships stopping at Freeport to offload supplies, they aren't letting passengers off.

tigers2425 Posted September 14, 2019 #7 Share Posted September 14, 2019 Has anyone heard if the dock where they refurbish/drydock ships was affected by the hurricane?
Loucat Posted September 15, 2019 #8 Share Posted September 15, 2019 Tigers2425-Where is the dock you refer to that is used to refurbish/drydock ships? I have not seen any reports on a dock used for that purpose but knowing the location of this dock would help.

It's called "Grand Bahama Ship yard" I believe it's where RC does all of their dry docks? I could be mistaken though. You are correct on the location in Freeport, Grand Bahamas, I haven't heard of anything about the Grand Bahama Shipyard.

They asked if it was true that they weren't letting people off the ships in Nassau. We were in Nassau on Saturday. Everything looked completely normal there.
