BOMBER1 Posted September 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2019 Is there a plan to renovate the suites and public areas on the Windsurf?

milepig Posted September 15, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2019 One thing that’s been discussed here is that most (all?) of the double cabin suites are being returned to the original configuration.

dandee2 Posted September 16, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2019 And maybe, maybe, keep fare a wee bit more accessible for canadian !
Del Rio Posted September 16, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 16, 2019 Here is a copy of the post dry dock deck plan (directly from the Windstar website). Windstar labels this as "WINDS SURF; RENOVATED VOYAGES START NOVEMBER 30, 2019". (File name here is just how I have it stored on my drive.) There will be 18 suites remaining on Deck 3, along with the 3 individual suites on the Bridge Deck.Wind Surf Deck Plan (updated 11-30-19).pdf
Misty Morning Posted September 17, 2019 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2019 Dandee2, Prices for Canadians are usually pretty good as they always have a Canadian Special which shaves off 20% on fares including heavily discounted fares. For example a 2 week cruise in Caribbean on Star Legend in November was shown at $1,799 plus tax. Difficult to beat even with the exchange rates
Redtravel Posted October 13, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 13, 2019 It would be nice if all Windsurf cabins were renovated. New mattresses and carpeting would be appreciated.
Chipshot from Michigan Posted October 14, 2019 #9 Share Posted October 14, 2019 We're also sailing on her in December and are hoping 1) renovations are throughout, and 2) they're completed by the time we board. The spa is being moved to a higher deck, and cabins will occupy part of the space it's vacating. I've also heard something about new restaurants, one of them BBQ. Going back partway to her Club Med 1 roots?
