Bilge Rats Posted October 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2019 They have a new park along the ocean that is within walking distance of the port (Linear Park). Here is some information from Fodor's (2016 date): https://www.fodors.com/world/caribbean/aruba/experiences/news/photos/new-things-to-do-in-oranjestad-aruba
Sand and Seas Posted January 16, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2020 It has been many years since we were in Aruba. Does the port usually have more than one ship docked? Is the port area easily walk-able? The link above talks about a free trolley for 9 stops starting at the cruise port. Has anybody tried this? I haven't done this but I did find this information: https://www.visitaruba.com/getting-around/streetcar-trolley/ https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g147248-d9982719-Reviews-Aruba_Streetcar-Oranjestad_Aruba.html#REVIEWS

You may have already read my previous post...but if you haven't...yes, there's a free trolley with a stop right outside the cruise terminal. It is very popular with cruise passengers (heck! it's free) and there's often a long line. Best to let other passengers who have difficulty walking or are disabled to use it. Walking around town is fairly easy. Happy Sailing!
