Jareds_mommytoo Posted October 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2019 We booked a cruise for spring break, I think in late September , we paid $1700 canadian for 2 adults 1 child in a veranda room, i just called to ask about the latest promo with the free drinks, which our cruise is eligible it can totally be added but the price goes to $3400 lol. Thats more then if we added the drink package on our own for all 3 of us lol. I am very happy we booked when we did.
Rare puppycanducruise Posted October 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2019 Sometimes the price goes up, sometimes it goes down. Enjoy your cruise.
Krazy Kruizers Posted October 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2019 Glad you booked when you did. Big savings for you. For us, the drink package would not be worth it.
iancal Posted October 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2019 Bottom line...forget the claims. Do the bottom line math. I suspect that cruise lines hope that potential customers have little grasp of simple math.

I do the math, and in recent years I've seen that prices go up by approximately the cost of the items in the promo. Didn't used to be that way, but it is now. Promos are useless to solos. We pay for the goodies twice, but only get them once.
