We are thinking about booking a day pass to the Sanctuary on the Royal Princess. Do you have a favorite  chair/location that you would be willing to share with us? There are two of us.  I have to have a plan when I make a run for it.

Also, I would love to see photos if you have any to share.  Thank you!

You may be running for it, but once there and it is your turn, you will have time to walk into the area with an attendant and select from available inventory.  They also have a paper map of the layout at the podium/desk.  It's not a panic situation once it is your turn to be served.

I agree with OzKiwiJJ. That location has a mix of sun and shade. Here is a video and some pics. You can ask the staff member when you check in which chairs they recommend. Just tell them your preference- sun VS shade.

HBCcruiser, thank you so much!   This is perfect!  Did  you choose to be under the white awning or in the open sun?  We will be there on a sea day heading towards San Francisco.

When we sailed on the Regal we got there early. At that time on the Regal I believe they were making those front row seats available for those who booked the full week.  We took two loungers just across the railing from the open center cabana.  We had breakfast and lunch in the comfortable seating and shade.  That worked out really well!
