Staceman225 Posted October 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2019 In a few weeks we will be sailing out of Tampa on the Paradise. That same day there is an RCI sailing. Carnival's terminal is listed as terminal 2. However, I have seen other documentation that lists terminal 3 as the terminal for the Paradise. I don't like surprises and I don't want to accidentally take an RCI cruise. 🙂 This is our first cruise out of Tampa. Can someone more familiar with Port Tampa help me out? Which is the correct terminal?
Rare Jamman54 Posted October 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2019 It could be either one. The last time we sailed on the Paradise we left from Terminal 2 and returned to Terminal 3. 😀
Djptcp Posted October 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2019 You could Google the Port of Tampa and look for the cruise ship schedule calendar. Look for your sailing date, click on the ship and you should see which terminal. We are cruising on the Paradise on Nov. 4th and it is Terminal 3. Garth2 Posted October 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 28, 2019 When you get to the port it will be evident where your ship is and they won't let you in the terminal unless you have a boarding pass for that ship.
havanadaydreaming Posted October 28, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2019 we were on Magic out of FLL last month and had no idea what terminal we were docked at...although we could sure see if from our day before hotel balcony. when we took Lyft to port we just said Carnival Magic and things worked out just fine. Rare lazydayz Posted October 28, 2019 #6 Share Posted October 28, 2019 Not a big deal in Tampa. The two terminals are very close. You will see the ships from the street so it will be obvious which terminal you need. Have a great cruise.
just4cruzin Posted October 29, 2019 #7 Share Posted October 29, 2019 Look for the ship with the whale tail and get on that one. It's not confusing when you pull up. Enjoy your trip, the Paradise is our favorite!
evandbob Posted October 29, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 29, 2019 If the OP is driving and parking at the port, there are signs directing pax to the appropriate garages. Then you can self park or use the Valet option which we found quite convenient. If the OP is using a transfer shuttle or a taxi or uber, the drivers know where to drop you off. May1cruiser Posted October 29, 2019 #9 Share Posted October 29, 2019 if you want a preview, look at PTZ tv webcam for the port of Tampa. I typically watch the ship returning to port before we drive to the ship. this will show you which terminal before you drive up. no worries either way. Tampa is super easy.
