Opening balcony dividers

We are going to have 3 cabins next to each other

 Is it possible to have the dividers open or is that against Royal Caribbean policy?

What ship as the dividers do not open on all ships

All balcony dividers do open with the exception of the aft balconies. Technically it is at the discretion of the ships Captain however on the Indy the request is rarely refused

I don’t believe the aft ones open.

Aft cabin balcony dividers do NOT open.  On some ships, the side balconies can be opened, but not on all ships.  The aft balconies are large enough to host your friends without opening anything but your hallway door.

We were on Oasis last year and were able to open the balcony partition using a pen.  Im sure there is a tool that would work much better, but the pen actually worked pretty well.  Actually easier than we expected. A few turns of the pen and the door opened right up.
