Mariner of the seas - medical emergency

We are on mariner right now. We are in Miami for a medical emergency. One passenger was taken off and another ambulance crew just went on 😞. Praying everyone is okay and sending good thoughts to the family.

Thank goodness they were close to land and got them to Miami, great medical care in Miami!

Unfortunately, we see a medical emergency on more and more cruises.

So glad they were near Miami!  A good reminder to always get trip insurance because not all emergencies work out this way.

It's especially on cruises out of FL / East Coast US and longer itinaries which generally have a larger amount of older population on board where the risk is higher for a medical emergency.
