Turning Platinum on a B2B

So I am looking to book a B2B2B cruise for my 20th anniversary. DH and I will turn Platinum on the last leg of the cruise. My question is we will be platinum for all or just the last leg? For some reason I thought I had read in the past where a individual was turning platinum on a B2B the second leg but was platinum for both legs.

Unfortunately, since they are all considered separate cruises, you will only get Platinum benefits for the last leg.

 On my back to back, I was only platinum the 2nd leg. ( I was turning platinum on the second leg)

 So you will only be platinum for your 3rd leg.

I believe they will afford him Platinum status. We got it in the same situation

We reached Platinum status on the 2nd of our B2B in 2013.  We were given the Platinum status when we boarded the ship.  Our boarding passes & luggage tags said PRIORITY.

This is what happened to us, surprised to see Priority on our boarding pass.

Same happened to me. I had priority boarding and had the platinum card with all the benefits as soon as I boarded the ship, first leg. This was 2 years ago. Congrats on your 20th anniversary. Have a great time!

We also had a b2b scheduled where the second leg got us to gold status yet we received a gold card at the beginning of the first leg. Our PVP had our two cruises linked together.

How can you tell if they are linked? I called and asked that my B2B cruises be linked but my reservations look the same.

You can't tell by looking at your reservation, but now that your cruises are linked, look at the documents for the first one and see if it says "priority". 😎

We received it first leg. We did call and make a request, not sure whether that helped but certainly can’t hurt. (We “requested” not “demanded”).

I didn't use Carnival to book and when we boarded our cabin steward already knew we were B2B. Our B2B documents were also in the cabin and the few perks that are included as well. Maybe our TA linked the cruises.
