Using a Classic Beverage Package in Specialty restaurants

Do the specialty restaurants offer wine at $9 or under so that we won't have to pay an overcharge? Also, I understand that gratuities are not included for the specialty restaurant meals. Since tips are already part of the beverage packages, we tip only on the food, right?

Gratuities are included in the Specialty Restaurants fee.  However, many  cruisers also include an additional tip.  There has been a statement that a gratuity of x percent has been included.

 

As for the Classic Package, there are wines available under the package but the variety is rather limited.

Never had a problem sticking with the Classic package.

We usually order a cocktail and I'll have wine (but I'm not that picky).

DH will have another cocktail since he's not a big wine drinker. 

So far, for us at least, not complaints with the Classic.

Thanks for the information. I read on the Celebrity site that gratuities were not included so that's a nice surprise.

We all know about the website.

 

There is a 18% gratuity that has been included.  That what it says on my receipts as I keep most everything.

Yeah, we had the classic package on our last cruise and very much enjoyed our 2 nights in Tuscan Grille. No issue with getting drinks and no need for additional gratuities.

Just a heads up that I have been told there was not a Sauvignon Blanc in my Classic Package price point in Murano and Sushi on 5.  Both times I just said I’d go to the nearest bar and get a glass myself and the situation was quickly resolved.

We used our classic package in all of the specialty restaurants on Eclipse in May and never had an issue. Got the beers and wine we wanted without any pushback at all.
