I've never seen individual cartons of water, or any size actually. You can get water in cartons. I have never looked for them but I know they are available as a couple of times my train has broken down on my commute and they come through the cars offering water... the water is in cartons. Since the price of a case of water is reasonable (for a cruise ship) I would not waste my allotment on water. I have two travelers that will need their soda more. If I run into you on a cruise, don't look in my yeti! Or just pretend I'm drinking koolaid. Actually, since you probably have a much more discerned palate than I do, you probably wouldn't consider my wine to be much more than koolaid, anyway. Maybe we will meet one day on a ship & you can educate me on the finer points of wine consumption. It will be fun - you can be Henry Higgins & I'll be Eliza. Happy sailing!! 🚢 "Why can't the English teach their children how to speak"😉 4 hours ago, ilovetotravel1977 said: You could just pour your wine from the Yeti into the wine glass. I think that's what I would do. That way you can bring more than one glass with you for dinner, but not drinking wine from a tumbler. This I don't understand at all. Why would you pour your perfectly fine bottle of wine into a Yeti and then into a wine glass, makes no sense

Florings Posted January 29, 2020 #30 Share Posted January 29, 2020 I pour my wine in my cabin "water glass" and take it to the MDR, no questions asked. (I asked my steward for a wine glass, he told me to use the water glass. It's fine - works the same!) I did leave the glass in the MDR when after our meal. Personally, I wouldn't get the cartons of water to enable us to carry on our own water - it is less expensive to buy the 12-pack at $4.95 from Carnival. HERKIMER417 Posted January 29, 2020 Author #31 Share Posted January 29, 2020 I appreciate the feed back on the soda (and water ). I can still get some Herkimer Cheese to go with the wine. They have a nice store a few miles from me. And with the Amish all around here I can get several varieties- cow, goat, even alpalka cheese. Which bring up a different question. Can I bring cheese on board to accompany my wine? Jack

Can I get clarification on this statement, please? by "VIFP", do you mean any past guest who is a member of Carnival's VIFP program? For instance, my wife and I both signed up for the VIFP thing. We've been on one other Carnival cruise (Ecstacy, Nov. 2010). Will we each receive two one-liter bottles of water (four total)? We are still going to order the 12 pack of water though. While neither of us are very picky about drinking tap water (we have a well here), both of our doctors sternly warned us about using an unknown quality water source in our nasal rinse bottles.
