Does it really cost to get fish and chips at Fish and Ships onboard the Ovation?

We ate there many times on our 19-night Transpacific sailing.  Everything we got was included but I did notice a few items on the menu that you could get with a charge.

Sure.  The fish and chips are good!!

Most of the menu is free but there are some items that cost.  The free fish and chips was small, but it's free so order two if you want a full lunch type meal.  Otherwise an order of one is a great snack between meals.

So now I'm confused - do you need to pay extra or not for items at Fish n Ship, because I have seen a menu with prices on it ?? But it was from the Independence - so do you need to pay on IOS but not the OOS?

Although there are a few items for a charge on the Ovation F&S menu, there are several others included in your cruise fare at no charge. We only got the included ones.

A few items are now FOC probably because it is nearly always empty and cruisers do not want to pay the up charge.
